A steady rise in new Covid-19 cases has prompted the Greek government to intensify its warnings and tighten hygiene measures to bring infections back under control.
Greece counted 121 new coronavirus cases on Tuesday, of which only 12 were registered at entry points into the country, while the rest were attributed to community transmission.
