Impact of pandemic, lockdowns reflected in lower household spending during 2020
The household budget survey published on Wednesday by ELSTAT captures the effect that the pandemic and the lockdown restrictions had on Greek household spending in 2020.
The average annual household expenditure in 2020 came to 15,982 euros per year, or 1,332 euros per month, a drop of 9.9 pct against 2019.
