Risk of poverty drops to 26.3 pct, reflecting post-Covid rebound

The latest poverty data from ELSTAT covering 2022, using 2021 as reference year, was published on Monday.

It captures the post-pandemic economic recovery, recording a drop of 2 percentage points for the population at risk of poverty and social exclusion to 26.3 percent.
