ILO highlights social impact of Greek crisis, proposes change in policy

In its 2014 report titled “Productive jobs for Greece” (pdf), the International Labour Organisation (ILO) highlighted this week the crucial role of social protection in times of crisis, while outlining the impact that the lengthy recession and adjustment programme has had.

In addition, the ILO suggested a number of measures that could help the most vulnerable groups.
