Greece tops the EU league tables in terms of the number of lawyers per population and has by far the highest number of pending administrative cases before the courts, a comparative survey of EU justice systems shows.

Remarkably, the proportion of attorneys to the Greek population increased from 370 per 100,000 in 2010 to 388 per 100,000 inhabitants in 2014.
