Greece has earned plaudits for tackling the Covid-19 threat to publich health but now faces a challenge in containing the impact on the country's fragile economy.
Even in the best-case scenario, the recession is likely to rival the worst years of the recent debt crisis.
Also, the momentum of the post-bailout recovery, which began a few years ago and promised more jobs, income and security will have dissipated.
The Greek economy will have to find a way to bounce back from this new setback.
