A virus is spreading across China, but so is the demand for transparency
As the coronavirus in China leads to ever more expansive measures by the authorities in Beijing and governments as well as corporate entities across the globe, two aspects of this dramatic development are starting to come into greater focus: The management of information involved in this fast-moving public health emergency, and secondly the urgent need for Chinese authorities to manage their resources when dealing with this epidemic.

Where is the EastMed pipeline heading?
Almost a decade ago, in February 2010, the Greek prime minister at the time, George Papandreou, and his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu had a chance encounter in a Moscow Restaurant. It triggered a series of events, primarily a rapprochement between Greece and Israeli, that culminated last week in the Greek, Cypriot and Israeli leaders signing an agreement to progress with the EastMed project, a 1,900-kilometer undersea pipeline that could transport Israeli gas to Europe.

Learning the lessons of Greece's toxic decade
In a recent opinion poll by MRB, those surveyed were asked who they would like to see as next Greek President if the incumbent, Prokopis Pavlopoulos is not awarded a second term. Twenty-six percent said they would like to see former prime minister Kostas Karamanlis be appointed Greece’s new head of state.
